Adrian Meronk made history last season by becoming the first player from Poland to win on the DP World Tour as he triumphed by three strokes at the 2022 Horizon Irish Open. He followed that triumph up earlier this season with victory at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open, before winning a third DP World Tour title at the home of this year’s Ryder Cup when he triumphed at the DS Automobiles Italian Open. Finished in a share of third here at the 2021 edition, one shot back from champion Richard Bland.

Adrian also became the first Polish player to win a European Tour group-operated event when he triumphed at the 57° Open de Portugal @ Morgado Golf Resort in 2019.
