Rory McIlroy returns to the Genesis Scottish Open for the first time since 2021 as he looks to add a second Rolex Series title to his name after securing his first at this year’s Hero Dubai Desert Classic. The Northern Irishman enjoyed a stellar season around the globe in 2022, finishing in the top eight of all the Major Championships, picking up three PGA TOUR victories, winning the FedExCup for a third time and the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex for the fourth time.
