It is once again my honour and privilege to welcome you to the Horizon Irish Open.
Horizon joined this historic, national event in 2022 as Title Sponsor and we are incredibly proud to have become a part of its wonderful legacy. Last year we saw the emergence of a new force in the world of golf, as eventual champion Adrian Meronk took home the prized trophy. Once again this year we have an incredibly strong player field with legends of the game like Rory McIlroy, Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald, and our Horizon ambassadors, Padraig Harrington, Shane Lowry and Seamus Power, as well as rising stars such as Min Woo Lee and Lucas Herbert.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the Horizon Irish Open’s return to the K Club. Arnold Palmer’s design has drawn many high profile events since its launch and for obvious reason. This year’s Horizon Irish Open will no doubt be a powerful new chapter in the championship course’s growing legend. In addition to the exciting move back to the K Club, we have worked closely with the DP World Tour to amplify various aspects of the guest experience this year and we hope you enjoy these enhancements both on course and within the Championship Village.

In 2022, we named Make-A-Wish Ireland as the event’s charity partner and we were proud to raise over €120,000 for their incredibly important work. This figure could not have been achieved if not for the huge effort from Make-A-Wish Ireland, the DP World Tour, Horizon employees and – most important of all – the personal donations made by fans in attendance. Inspired by the success seen in year one, we have set the goal of doubling that figure this year. We know that when we work together, incredible things are possible.
