Söderberg’s journey in golf began at a tender age, picking up a club for the first time at the age of three. Fuelling his passion further, he joined the Partille Golfclub in his hometown of Gothenburg at the age of seven, honing his skills and setting the foundation for his future success.
Representing Sweden Boys, Söderberg achieved a remarkable feat by winning the gold medal at the European level. This early accomplishment showcased his talent and potential, foreshadowing the success that awaited him in his professional career.
The 32-year-old then claimed his maiden DP World Tour title in an exhilarating fashion, emerging victorious from a five-way play-off against Rory McIlroy, Kalle Samooja, Lorenzo Gagli, and Andres Romero at the 2019 Omega European Masters. This thrilling win marked a significant breakthrough in his professional career.
Since that triumph in Switzerland four years ago, the Swede has gone on to finish in the top ten 12 more times, but is still awaiting his second career victory despite several close calls.
