Having twice topped the then European Tour Order of Merit in 1987 and 1990, Ian Woosnam joined the greats of the game when he won The Masters in 1991. That triumph at Augusta National was one of 29 on the European circuit and he carried that form onto the senior circuit with five victories on the Legends Tour and one on the PGA Tour Champions. The first of those came in just his third event at the Parkridge Polish Seniors Championship – he would go on to become the first former winner of the Harry Vardon Trophy to repeat the feat on the Senior Tour when he lifted the John Jacobs Trophy in 2008.
