Following a season in which he won four times, including a maiden Senior Major at the KitchenAid Senior Major Championship, and had 18 top-10 finishes in 23 starts, Steven Alker finished last season atop the Charles Schwab Cup standings. The Kiwi was also the recipient of the 2022 Jack Nicklaus Award as the PGA TOUR Champions Player of the Year, while also receiving the Byron Nelson Award, given annually to the player with the best scoring average on the PGA Tour Champions.
