Highly regarded as one of Europe’s greatest players, Thomas Bjorn has claimed 15 DP World Tour titles to date. His illustrious career includes a number of records such as becoming the first Danish Ryder Cup player in history in 1997, before appearing in the biennial contest twice more in 2002 and 2014 – experiencing victory on all three occasions. He took on the role of Captain in 2016 to great success – leading Team Europe to a 17.5 – 10.5 victory at Le Golf National. Got his hands on senior silverware for the first time in 2021 at Irish Legends presented by the McGinley Foundation, before capturing a second Legends Tour title last year at the season-ending MCB Tour Championship – Mauritius. 

Did you know?

Bjorn used to chip golf balls into a birdbath in his back garden as a child and that birdbath now sits proudly at his home club Silkeborg Golf Club.
