Where can I find information on event parking and travel to site?

Is there disabled parking on site?

  • There will be dedicated disabled parking spaces at both park and rides for spectators who display a blue badge in their vehicles. For those with accessibility issues who require parking on site, please email [email protected].

 

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

What is the tournament format?

  • Field: 288 players (144 women and 144 men).
  • The tournament will be a 72-hole stroke play event.
  • The field will play one round on each of the first two days, after which the leading 60 players in each field (and those who tie for 65th place) will go forward to the third round. There will then be a cut at the end of the third day to the leading 35 players in each field.
  • In the event of a tie for the first place there will be a hole-by-hole play-off.
  • Each player will play one round at Galgorm and one round at Castlerock over Thursday and Friday.

 

What is the site opening times at Galgorm for spectators during the tournament?

  • Gates open at 8am on Wednesday and 7am everyday thereafter each morning. Gates will close an hour after the last putt.

 

When is the G4D (Golf for the Disabled) tournament?

  • The G4D tournament will take place on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th

 

What day is the Pro-Am?

  • The Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday 16th
  • The pro-am starts at 1.30pm with practice happening before that

 

EVENT FACILITIES

Will there be a first aid team on site?

  • A full medical and first aid facility is available at both courses. Should you require medical assistance whilst out on course, please ask a marshal or event official who can radio for assistance.

 

Are there public toilets accessible around the course?

  • Yes, there are plenty of public toilet facilities situated around the course and in the Championship Village.

 

Will there be Wi-Fi available on site?

  • Free public Wi-Fi is available for visitors across the site.

 

Will there be an information desk at the tournament?

  • Yes, there will be an information tent located in the Championship Village.

 

How can I access event information whilst at the tournament?

  • The ISPS Handa World Invitational digital programme is free, and can be downloaded via the DP World Tour App. Click here to download the App. It is where you will find all the tournament information and updates, including the daily draws, course map, full event schedule and entertainment.

 

Is there a lost property area on site?

  • Yes, the lost property location is at the information centre.

 

Are there mobile phone charging facilities on site?

  • There are no mobile phone charging stations at the tournament. Please remember to bring a portable power bank for your phone.

 

Can I bring a bag on site?

  • Bags and rucksacks are permitted at the Championship.

 

Are dogs allowed at the tournament?

  • No dogs are permitted on site, unless they are assistance dogs.
