Francesco Laporta volvió al círculo de ganadores por tercera vez en el Challenge Tour a principios de este año, con una reñida victoria en el Big Green Egg German Challenge powered by VcG. El italiano, que ganó el Abierto de Hainan y la Gran Final del Challenge Tour en 2019, buscará un final de temporada similar esta semana, ya que intenta avanzar desde el puesto 15 en el Road to Mallorca y regresar al DP World Tour en cuanto pueda.

Francesco Laporta returned to the winner’s circle for a third time on the Challenge Tour earlier this year, with a hard-fought victory at the Big Green Egg German Challenge powered by VcG. The Italian, who won the Hainan Open and the Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2019, will be targeting a similar end to the season this week as he looks to push on from 15th on the Road to Mallorca and return to the DP World Tour at the first time of asking.

Francesco spent much of his early life in South Africa, travelling there for up to six months every year to visit his uncle and even has a South African twang to his accent when he switches from Italian to English.
